Well, they sort of survived the transplant, so I'm just going to go with that.
His name is WILDEBEEST
and he is a Cyclamen.
EDIT: After one week, he is looking droopy. I place him next to the window. After two days, his left half dies. I water him, and take him away from the window. I hope he is feeling better. EDIT: I am afraid to report that Wildebeest is dead. He drooped, then he drooped some more, and despite my mother's ministrations, he passed away early one Winter morning. RIP Wildebeest.
Instead of buying, I have made. After painting two pots for mum for mother's day 2011, we are now successfully growing Coriander and Parsley on the window sill. If it can survive until it's fully grown enough to be harvested, then I have succeeded.
My friends, the two plants are thriving on the kitchen windowsill, as of Thursday 23 June, 2011
