Had my first session with the Cub Scouts, it won't be my last. I am now a provisional assistant cub scout leader!

I am going to do some volunteerwork in Greece! Saving some turtles!

Relay for Life - American Cancer Society

I volunteered with Global Brigades as in interpreter for college studens coming from UCLA and DePaul University here in Panama, in Darien. They worked with the Platanilla Community near Torti giving workshops and sharing their knowledge on personal finances and business organization.

After sharing with them for a week not only in a professional but in a personal level I can honestly say my life changed, for good. I had one of the top 5 coolest weekends of my life partying with UCLA studends and I'm seriously considering working with something relation to foreign studens and languages.

Had my first cub meeting last night so technically this is completed but I have decided to keep this open until I have established that I will continue to return on a weekly basis.

4 visits should do it.

My next meeting (due to CRB checks and holidays) will be in 4 weeks. If I volunteer for anything else in the meantime that will also make this mission complete!

I have now signed up to do volunteering with the Brownies. I'm going to train to become an assistant leader and get an NQT qualification in Leadership AND complete a first aid course. Yay! :)

March 2012 - Jamie volunteered with Junior Acheivement. Dave volunteered with Special Olympics.

I did some volunteer work, through my company's LGBT network, helping a foundation that provides educational scholarships to LGBT youth. I helped organize a function for this foundation at one of my company's offices. Not sure if I'll mark this goal as completed yet though, I might want to do something more.
