At the end of April I went to a Kenny Chesney and Eli Young Band concert in Des Moine. It was really good!

One down, four to go!
Saw Lana Del Rey at Vicar Street on the 26th - she was amazing! Vicar Street's a really intimate venue as it is, and Lana absolutely killed it song after song. She really teared up during Video Games but if anything that just made the whole show even more special. So thrilled that I was there to see it (and even more thrilled that my best friend of 7 years flew over from Germany to be there with me).
Kassidy, the opening act, were absolutely fantastic too!
(Using a Contact Music picture for now - I still haven't uploaded any of my own. The picture was taken when a particularly excited fan threw her underwear onto the stage and an incredibly amused Lana decided to spin it around her head as part of the number. Oh man, it was a really good show.)

I recently went to a radio stations 50th bday bash! Joe Nichols, Alan Jackson, Craig Campbell, and Phil Vassar were there. I touched Phil Vassar pretty exciting. I originally forgot the tickets at home, only something I'd do, but it all worked out.
