Upon entering into my 47594th quarter life crisis, I decided that I needed to take action. I may have no idea what I want to do with my life, but I imagine I can figure out what I want to do with the next 2.75 years at the least. I can handle that!
Above & Beyonds are going automatically to the done list and not to remain in my original list to keep the original list as it was when I started it.
BEAUTIFUL May day with Mary and Margaret. We paddleboated in the late morning (so much fun! great view of the city & actually kind of a work out!) and then spent the rest of the day enjoying the sun and weather in the nearby lakefront park. PERFECT.
March/April - Back Work. Watched Disenfranchised in America. A short documentary on the new voting laws put into place in some states requriing a voter ID and how that disenfranchises many marginalized groups with the ultimate goal - per the documentary's opinion - of keeping those in power, in power. (ie. white ablebodied, christan, heterosexual, wealthy males.)
Only 25 minutes long....definitely worth the watch!
Jan/Feb back work - The Buddha - documentary on the life of buddha and his teachings. 2 hours...i'm halfway through and love it! this will also help me have a better understanding of buddhism.
I did purge the files I don't need...just have to figure out how to erase the harddrive to get the default back. Then I think I might use it to watch movies / create cds/dvds. :)
18. Ironically enough, my 18th book is titled "Explosive Eighteen" by Janet Evanovich. Part of the Stephanie Plum series...funny, entertaining, but also incredibly predictable (it's number 18).
