My name is Greg. Odds are if you’re viewing this, you already know me, whether in real life, or through one of my Internet aliases. If not, I’m a fairly normal person for my age, with a healthy love for the outdoors which I’ve seen neglected in recent years, and have wanted to dive headlong back into for some time. Recently, I reached a quarter century in age, and started thinking about what I wanted to accomplish in the near future. This, in turn, led me to remember the Day Zero Project, and I decided to challenge myself by not only making a list of goals to do, but to actually have each goal be something which I would have to actively set my mind out to accomplish. I’ve also used this as an excuse to get on the ball about doing the various outdoor activities, and learning the skills required therein, which I’ve wanted to accomplish for a long time now but had never gotten the appropriate motivation to get started on all of them.
