Mark-Eugene Garcia is a member of the Dramatists Guild and ASCAP, as well as a resident playwright of the F.A.C.T. Theatre Company. He studied book and lyric writing with the Academy of New Musical Theatre. His musicals include THE HOLY COWS OF CREDENCE SOUTH DAKOTA, FACING EAST, and THE JOURNEY. His plays include MISSED CONNECTIONS and KEYS. His works have been presented in The Puzzle: Marble’s Festival of New Works, ANMT’s Festival of New Musicals, Untucked: LBGT One Act festival, LaGuardia Performing Arts Center, Disney’s Hyperion Theatre, and The Colony Theatre Burbank. He has contributed additional lyrics to Recording Artist Barry Brandon’s touring show In My Own Words.
Mark's many stage roles vary from New York to California, including the shows, Into the Woods, The Mousetrap, Brights, Leaves of Grass, New York Hamlet, Boys in the Band, The Jar, Fiddler on the Roof, City of Angels, Ten Pages 25 required words and a Nude Scene, and many performances at Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure
