Still working on game 2, which is definitely more complicated. But I'm learning a lot from the process: 1)that it takes a hell of a lot of code to do just one process in the game, 2)how to use googlemaps and Minecraft to help with mapping out areas in the game, 3)how to write code in a better way than before, so that the parser has an easier time understanding what I want it to do, 4)that I need to be even more detailed than I myself am normally when worldbuilding!

currently working on game 2 of this project; I'm excited because I learned soooo much last month (it actually took me a month and 3 wks, on the 4th wk I started on game 2). Now I have some basics down that I didn't before and so am able to plow through some things much easier - lol and at the same time, I'm finding new and interesting ways to confuse myself!

worked at it 1hr 45 mins today, I made sure to highlight all the verbs for the game so I'd have it clear what stuff what did or could do (an important part of any class)

I've gotten up to writing out the code for the very start of the game; title and the 2 intro paragraphs.

Forgot one - 6) a documentary on the History Channel about dragons with Patrick Stewart. Really pretty, and they had some interesting scientific reasoning.

so far: 1) on making of "Das Neibelungenleid" on PBS, 2) about how Pixar Studios came to be, 3) about the future of Walmart, 4) one of the American Greed specials, 5) documentary about extra-terrestrial life by NOVA.

The Third Red Light has been up at Amazon.com for a couple months now. So it's kind of self-pub, but that still counts right?

Currently I'm up to chapter 14; this year for NANOWRIMO I'M doing what I call NANOPY (NANO-PYTHON), i.e. studying Python during NANO. I *should* be done with the book by the end of the month, by which time I'm intending to actually write a game (small one). Done it 3 days in a row so far; today's an enforced rest day:)

I started around Lughnassad to do something like this; a friend of mine told me about a neat ritual where you note something you're grateful every day. So I've been doing that via Facebook:)
