While I really meant flat racing or a big jump meet like Cheltenham for the Gold Cup, I did go to the Queens Cup steeplechase again this year, so technically I've crossed this one off my list. Still plan on going to see the horses run on the flats...
Nice to read through all the letters and remember one of the best times of my life--I always LOVED camp! Not a lot of insight (we were horse-crazy teenage girls after all), but great memories and as an added bonus, found several photos in the letters, including some of me riding my favorite horse. Worth doing for that alone!
Added another $17.50 on 22 April, bringing my total to $57.00/$100.00. Only $43.00 left to go. If I can make it to 100 by the end of summer, I'll try to make this a repeatable task each year of the challenge.

Made my 2012 resolutions...now to see if I can keep them!
Finance: 4/12 on the extra mortgage payment this year.
Health: 4/12 Haven't had soda in the house at all this year and have only had it out a handful of times. Should be soda free home and away by the end of the year.
Home Improvement: Started looking at colors to paint the MB.
Personal Enrichment: 3/15 and 0/10) Finished Books: NYT #15 The Next Always, Nora Roberts on 18 Jan 12. A bit too light and contrived for my taste, but a quick and easy read. Should've waited for summer where it could've been a light and fluffy beach read. #14 Zero Day, David Baldacci on 12 Feb 12. The action was dull and there was not a lot of deep character development. Wouldn't read something by him again...no Ludlum, Clancy, or even Cussler here. #11, The Best of Me, Nicholas Sparks on 4/11. OMG, this sucked and was so predictable to boot. I can't believe people enjoy this crap. Hoping my next read is better!
