Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do then by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

I have been working quite diligently at my Rosetta Stone Spanish Course. I have also registered for a summer course at the U of M in Spanish. I am extremely excited this summer to officially learn this language. I hope that I can do it but I am confident that if I stay focused and diligent I should not have an issue.
I thought that one of my challenges was to buy flowers for someone special but I guess I got rid of that one lol. HMMM?? Oh well I bought flowers for Carolina anyways before taking her to Desert Caravans to get our fortunes told.
On April 9th, 2012. I officially took Carolina and myself to get our fortunes told. Since I am probably only going to do this once I opted for the most expensive and in depth method. We got the Egyptian Sand Reading. It was quite pricey but it was a cool experience and I enjoyed it. It started with the fortune teller asking me to energize the sands with my hands. I drew a picture of a skydiver under parachute. I like skydiving but I thought by maybe drawing something I really enjoyed and something that I am passionate about it would actually make my fortune more accurate. I am not gonna lie but I like to think that fortune telling is actually true. I am not saying this guy I visited actually had the ability to see my fortune but I think there are some people in the world with this ability. Anyways, I tried my best to be optimistic about this experience and actually tried to energize the sands. After a brief period the gentlemen cam back in and spread tarat cards around the table and then cast a bunch of amethyst stones into the sand. He took a crystal and shoved it into the middle of the sand and began to read. It was fun to hear what he had to say and a lot of it was fairly accurate. He told me that this year was a year of decisions. I am going to have fun this year but I am going to make some very serious decisions as to what I am going to do with my life.
He told me I like to wear the Indiana Jones hat and that I like adventure. He told me he that I am going to travel a lot this year and that he sees me in Mexico City and Macchu Picchu. I have the Heart of the Dragon he told me meaning that I am a peaceful warrior but if myself, friends, or family are jeopardized I will not hesitate to fight. He sees me as a succesful business man in the future. I am a light bearer and need to be surrounded by adventurous, optimistic light bearers. He told me to stay away from the light suckers. He also told me that I have had bad relationships with girls and that to stay away from girls to suck to much energy out of me.He also told me to trust my instincts and that my future career will present itself to me. When it does I should not second guess myself about it and follow my destiny.
Haha it was quite fun to hear all that and I thought it was accurate until Caro came out and he supposedly told her almost exactly the same stuff. So I doubt the accuracy of his fortune telling but it was fun all the same.
I got my fortune told at Distant Caravans in the Forks Market.
Not only am I still reading "Sex on the Moon" but I have been reading another book as well called "100 People Who Changed The World". It is a great book! Very educational and inspiring.
Been horrible when it comes to keeping up with this thing. Tomorrow is the day that I am going to update my journal so that is completely done with all the current trips and goals I have completed.
Well I have kind of fallen off the tracks when it comes to being able to solve a Rubik's cube. I was doing so well there for a while when I was in Chicoutimi but now I can not find the time to practice. I am going to get back into it in the coming weeks.
Tonight Priya invited me to a Spanish class that is being offered for free at the University of Manitoba. We were supposed to meet before hand to catch up and have some food but we were both super late so we just had time for some Bubble Tea. I have never tried Bubble Tea before so it was great for my 101. It was alright haha. I would probably never opt to buy it for myself but if someone bought it for me or gave it to me I would drink it. Not my most favourite thing though.
Well I have completed one task. So that is $20 that I need to put into savings. I have vowed to not touch my savings account until the end of my 1001 days!!! And I am going to stick to it. Right now I do not have $20 to even deposit haha but when I do I am going to put it in there.
I am planning on registering for a French course this summer. I hope it doesnt confuse me with all the Spanish I am taking. I am going to try and get the French down for my travels.
