Progress update

I actually did this one without realizing it on 12/9/2011 by buying pears from a market in The Strip!
I took my "before" pictures (sort of...I'm not at my highest weight anymore, but close enough!) on 12/5/2011. I'll post them once I have a respectable set of "in progress" or "afters" to go with them.

Dec. 6, 2011: 5,000/100,000 = 5% Completion
I had made it through Chapter 4 of this book before starting my challenge; I plan on going back to refresh once I get under way, though.
Today I received that tissue-typing kit which I requested on 11/28/2011. I swabbed my cheeks and put it in the mail! I should be added to the registry within the next two months! =)
I have a map pinned to my cubicle wall at work now, so hopefully this shouldn't take too long to be able to cross off this list!
I filled out the initial paperwork online and requested my donor match kit on November 28, 2011. Hopefully I'll have received it and mailed it back by the time my challenge officially starts on December 10, 2011.
I am planning to do this in January 2012.
